powerhungry -> trinity EMAXX motors (7/9/2003 10:43:15 PM)

2 questions:

1. Can these WILD motors handle 14 cells??
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0095p?FVPROFIL=++&FVSEARCH=trinity+monster+maxx+motor&FVPROFIL=++

2. Can the EVX really handle the 17 or even 19 turn motors???

mike_evader2 -> trinity EMAXX motors (7/10/2003 2:27:23 AM)

I believe they can use 7 cells, but if you go to trinity's website, it says something about "using 7 cells may shorten your motor's life"

powerhungry -> trinity EMAXX motors (7/10/2003 2:38:48 AM)

I went on trinity's site but couldn't even see any info on their MAXX motors other than application..

Anyways, all the battery packs i have are 7 cells that i made for the EMAXX...

Does anyone have any experiece with these Trinity MAXX motors that can give advice if i should get it or not?

dioncuda, did u see a big performance boost?? torque lost?? anything?? what gear ratio?? Is yours the Pro or Wild?? 19 or 17 turn?

POWERHUNGRY
I did see a big difference in how it ran,faster.It seems to me that it has more torque than stock. The gear ratio is 17/66.I have a set of 20 tooth pinions i am going to try sometimes,just to see what kind of top end it has.I run the wild 19 turns,they cost me $87,kind of high but worth it.But they are cheaper than brushless.It will still flip over at will,its rough on the body.I would not trade my maxxes for anything!!!!anymore help let me know. :D

dioncuda -> trinity EMAXX motors (7/11/2003 1:30:39 PM)

Yes,i use the EVX 14.4V by novak.

e maxxer -> how fast are they (5/11/2004 1:14:41 AM)

hey i was thinking of getting thoose motors two hoow much faster is the e-maxx with them
is it worth the money.

dioncuda -> RE: how fast are they (5/11/2004 7:21:19 AM)

If your stock motors are wore out,yes they are worth it.
They are not cheap.I think it is alot faster with this set up.
They seem to run hotter,so i got some heat sinks.Take a look.[8D]

e maxxer -> RE: trinity EMAXX motors (5/12/2004 12:24:29 AM)

how much are those heat sinks.

I dont remember,bought them off the bay a while back.
I dont think i paid no more than 20 to 25 dollars.

mycarisaser -> RE: trinity EMAXX motors (5/13/2004 3:18:13 AM)

I had the 21t trinity e-maxx high voltage motors and their was a big differance from the stock 23t but I would say for the money I wished I would have gotton the 19t.But its to late to complane about it now since I SOLD THE E-MAXX. I kind of miss that thing
