You didn't say the weight or Length of your hull. The K&B 7.5C.C. O/B Makes as much or more Horsepower as the 11 C.C. Unless your boat maker calls for 11 C.C or larger O/B Use a 7.5... K&B claims that they have these in stock now at $300. If your hull is 35", or longer, and, or on the heavy side, the 11 C.C. may be slightly better due to higher torque. As far as I know, you will have to "beat the bushes" to try to find a used 11 C.C. O/B. K&B is not making any comments right now as to when they might get the other O/B motors in stock........

I just heard tonight from gary preusse that he is getting a new shipment of 7.5 pro motors along with pistons, liners, and Rods this would be an excellent motor for you. If you are interested, Just answer and i will send you Garys Number. He is a great boat modeler and knows more than I ever will. Hope this helps, Ken

Ken, you buy stuff from Gary too? I have to call him again this week for more parts. If Gary can't get it, it isn't out there! Oh yeah, his number, 630-279-2451. I ought to put it on speed dial. Great prices, fast shipping.
BTW, there aren't many people racing this size motor much anymore because of the reasons that Mike mentioned, go with the 7.5 cc.

I agree, Gary is great to deal with. I have dealt with him since the early eighties and he has always came thru for me. I use Gary Preusse and Bill Mcgraw for most of my parts. And believe me, I have alot of em. hehe
