We have been testing this engine for several weeks and have found it to be a very good engine. Jody and I flew a 30cc TLT Aviation Yak this past weekend with our test MT-35 engine and the performance was as we expected and maybe a little more. Jody is working out a few details with Tommy, when that is finished you can expect to see this engine along with the MT-70 twin at Valley View RC. Jody will post the performance details at a later time.

Status: offline 		I just ordered mine... I plan to run it on my Seagull Extra 180 until I can get the Extreme Flight Extra 300 78". 

Could this thing be mounted on the Hyde mount?  I know...strange question..

Status: offline 		HYDE mount are good for engine like YS140-ys170 because this engine are very powerfull but shake at lower rpm. F3A precision fly need very lower vibration on ideal speed but once engine tuned to high rpm. engine are not shake anymore. this HYDE mount are doing good job for 4T engine . 2T engine are less shake than 4T engine .so hyde mount may not need .

Status: offline 		What are the dimensions of this engine? Do you plan to offer a wrap around pitts muffler for inverted mounting in mustangs and spitfires?

this might be good in say the ESM line 70 inch wingspan planes, depending on how strong the engine performs and how much it weighs.

Status: offline 		I'm just visit ESM factory two days ago . was chat with President of ESM and look all the plane them build , most 1.20 size warbird are able to use MT35 and we will design special muffler system for each warbird ESM build . most are pitts around muffler . need some time to do this line .

Status: offline 		good to hear the wrap around muffler will be offered. That is my biggest hang up right now as my 2 ESM warbirds are not built because I need to source a quality muffler first.

Once the mufflers are available I will order two 35's

Status: offline 		one things I forgot to say. any pitts muffler that fit for Zenoah G26 are also fit for MT35. so you may use aftermarket pitts muffler like JTEC. BISSON or other to fit MT35

OK, I get what an M8 plug is now, but this "slant plug" on the MT-70, can somebody expand on that for me? It's the first reference I've seen of it. Is there a pic of this arrangement anywhere? Will it be available with the MT-35? Is there any difference in the power level available with a "slant plug" cylinder? I find the idea of a smaller profile pretty attractive! Thanks, -Al

Status: offline 		Tomy posted a cad drawing showing the cylinder of the 35. It was designed to have the plug either come straight out the nd of the cylinder or angled or "slanted down giving a little more cowl clearance.
In theory the straight plug will make more power and the cm6 pluggs are more rugged.

I am going with Pennzoil air cooled @32:1 for the first hour of five minute runs and switching to Mobil 2T Racing @ 40:1

Jody uses Stihl Ultra. I'd use that or Husquvarna oil if I didn't have the Mobil.

Status: offline 		Start off with 32:1 for 2 or 3 gallons, then you can go to 40-50:1 if you want. The engine will be perfectly content with 32:1 for ever if you want, never mix less oil than 50:1.
