I'm not sure, that is one of my very few complaints about AE, they tend to have really short body posts, I had to extend the one's on my TC3 to get the civic to fit. You just have to get creative, and see if there are any other companies that have body posts that will fit. What I did was buy some front body posts, cut them, and put them through some rubber tubing, and stuck the other half of the tubing on the posts that are mounted to the car. Then glued the edges when they were at the height I liked. Hope that helps.

yea on my XB i needed to trim the body. at high speeds, especially around turns, it would drag and i would hear a clicking noise.

I missed out on the babes..

it says on towerhobbies that the TC3 is 187mm wide.. Does that mean only 190mm bodies will fit? 2 people said 200mm's will fit, and i dont really want them hanging off "too" much, so, will only 190's fit, or will 200's fit too, except lean over the edge a little?

I know I can easily get them to fit, i just wanna hear from the non-n00bles...

o btw, yes you need a certain post count for a custom title.. thing about them is, I admin 9 forums myself so I get to do what i want

That reminded me..

Whenever i drive, full-speed or like 3mph or whatever, slow-speed , i hear a clicking noise.. With my body on AND off! It looks/sounds like its coming from my gears but I cant really tell... Hopefully grandslam can fix it for me (im serious! lol)

Anyone else think of a reason why it like "clicks"?

I've got a xxx-t and an xxx that I'm slowly working on upgrading. What's the big deal with graphite? Is it that much better than the stiffizel (sp) that it comes with? Also, is there any type of air induction system to keep the motor cooler while racing?

All you can do for cooling in a race is cut a 2inch hole in the windsheild. The big deal with graphite is it's light and strong so it's definatly better than plastic.

Hockey07, yes, 200mm will fit the TC3, they just hand over some. My Supra was a 200mm, and it was kinda fat, I didn't like it. HPI makes 3mm offset wheels though that you can use if you do get a 200mm body, and you can barely tell the difference. As for the clicking noice, check your gear mesh, you should push the gears together and run a piece of paper through them, and that will set the proper mesh, and there could also be something in the motor. I've had that problem before and can't remeber what it was, check those 2 things first, and I'll keep thinking.

Also, for the cooling idea, cut a U shaped hole in the window, and fold the top part that isn't cut, back, then clue some lexan to that leading to the motor/batteries. If that doesn't make sense tell me, and i'll draw something up for you, but it makes the electronics run MUCH cooler, 3 runs and I could still put my fingers on the motor without buring them, touched my friends motor without the cut-out windo, and I burned my finger. It helps!

I think I know what you're saying, so you're not actually cutting any lexan off the windshield, you're just cuttin some of it in a U shape, and then folding it up. That's a great idea. I've got a point series race this weekend, I'm going to try that. Do you just use regular CA glue to glue the lexan together? How big of a U and how high on the windshield do you cut it? Thanks for the tips guys!

if you want to make it look stealth and not effect your aerodynamics too much cut away the induction vents on the car body (not sure which you are using) like on the stratus you can cut out the grille and put a fine sceen behind it

I've done that too..first run into another car or curb, it cracks the body like hell. I've found the hole in the windshield to be the most affective so far.

I race off-road truck, I've got a xxx-t with the proline gmc sierra body. I'll try the windshield thing. I'll let you know after this weekend how much it helps. That's one problem I've had this year, is my motor getting too hot. Either that or the magnets in the can breaking. Last weekend I bought a brand new P2k pro, and during the 2nd run my battery dumped really bad, I pulled it apart and one of the magnets was cracked. I had tq on my first run, but lost it on the third, I only had one good run. I didn't finish the main because I put a smaller pinion on it and I set my slipper too loose. I need a better charger too I think.
