Do you have a link to info about the plane?

We need weight, and we need to know how you want to fly it.

Sport aerobatics?
Scale?
3D
Pattern?

Then we can give you some good advice.

However, taking a stab at the fact that this is a 40 class glow plane, this power pack would probably be a good match for general sport flying.  About 500 watts

A 3S 5000 mah 20 C pack lipo would be a reasonable battery pack.  You can go larger.

If you are looking for agressive aerobatics, then this might be better, about 850 watts.

A good battery match would be a 6S 5000 mah 20 C lipo pack.

The weight is shown as 5.25 pounds. I presume that is all up flying weight in glow power trim.  Finished as an electric it could come in anywhere from 5-6 pounds, depending on how you fit it out, what servos you use, where you put the battery, etc.

Depending on how much power you want, either of the packages I suggested would work.  Since they recommend a .45, you may have a preference for the larger motor package I suggested.  It is about 800 watts vs the smaller one at 500 watts.  On the larger motor you will have thrust in excess of plane weight so you can hover it or have unlimited uplines.

The battery packs I suggested would be about 5-6 minute packs when flying near full throttle or about 8-12 minutes with mixed flying.

Thanks. I will go with larger motor package, that should give me more than enough grunt, my next conversion is a 1/4 Scale Cub either world models or the Balsa USA Kit , cant decide witch yet .
