Status: online 		This is the only twin engine under $500 and can swing 24-8 prop up to 7K with stock muffler ! and engine weight only 3.26lb with plug !!!. people know the advantage of twin engine compare with single . smooth without vibration . and we made it still light weight just like single cylinder engine

Status: offline 		im still waiting for mine to arrive,,tommy did a run of 100,this week according to him ,and im supposed to recieve one of them,,it looks like ,i may be one of the first people getting one,ive heard alot of hype from mtengines usa,,and others but i personally havent heard from one single mt70 twin owner ,about its operation or performance,so,,,,when mine ever arrives,ill either start a thread ,,or post pics and comments ,,when i do post info.bear in mind that im not a machinist or engineer,just a rc modeller who has be either around or active in rc for over 30 years.so my explanations may not be so technical but stated to the best of my ability..

Status: offline 		If they accurately copied the old 3w-70 it should run pretty darn well. It could be a good choice for 1/3 scale Cub/Citabria/Decathlon type aircraft.

I did not say only good for profile planes...just kinda hinting that it may be neat...equal weight on each side of the profile fuse. The MT 70 engine should work good on any airplane for 3D if the weight to thrust ratio is right. Best Regards & good luck, Capt,n

Status: offline 		It may be hard to find a 50cc size plane to put it in and not have to cut the sides of the cowl. In the pics the MT70 is showing about 11" wide at the caps. Most of the 50cc planes are 9" to 10" wide at the cowl.

Just an FYI for comparitive purposes, the 3w-56 twin works extremely well for 3d, so there's no reason a 70cc twin would not work out as well. Taking it a step further, where would we be if the 100cc plus twins didn't 3d well?

Status: offline 		What it means is a single cylinder engine of the same size will have more power than a twin. The twin will be smoother though,
