I'm a "Senior Compensation Analyst" for Texas A&M University. - Big title, not so big pay.

I look at job descriptions all day and am supposed to determine what title & salary people should have. There are 8 women and myself in my office. I think I'm growing breasts.

I afford the hobby by flying what ammounts to a spad, and buying little more than a gallon of fuel per month.

Club dues & AMA is due this month, guess I'll have to suck it up.

I'm a custom composites technician, and have worked in the fiberglass trade since '68, on all sorts of projects.

I've been supplying corporate aircraft interior parts since '88, but that whole business took a hit after 9-11, so now back to taking on smaller projects, this time working on a composite model aircraft for a customer.

It's nice to occasionally have a hobby and employment overlap!

Dont you mean "scarebus"! (J/K) Watched an A340 leave Love Field (Dallas,TX) the other day. Huge plane when all you see there is SW 73's! Bush comes in there sometimes in the 74! Crawford is not too far from here.

O. K. This might make a few people jealous, but here goes. I am a freelance modelmaker for big,( and low.) budget motion pictures, T.V. and comercials. My last project : " The Aviator " , Starring Leo Decaprio, and directed by Martin Scorcesse. My job : Lead fabricator and crewchief for a 1/2 scale H-1 racer, a
1/4 scale XF-11 and a 1/16 scale H-4 "hercules" A.K.A. spruce goose. All built over a three month period, and all flown, spectacularly, without incident. Kudos to pilots Jason Somes and Bill Hempel. The H-1 weighed 350 Lbs. spanned 16' and was driven with a 40 H.P. motor. The XF-11 weighed over 500Lbs. and used 3-W motors, and spanned 25'. The " Goose " used 8 electric motors, 30 Lbs. 0f c-cells , spanned 20' and weighed a mere 180 Lbs. A lightweight. Water starts were impressive, and it flew as if on rails. Look for the release in summer of 2004. Happy new year. Adam.
