I have found that these new holigen flashlites the small ones make excelent landing lights for quite a few planes.Depend on what you want though. When you get them set up in your plane just use one of thoses battery pacs for cordless phones. Use a switch and a micro switch on your retracts that way you will have lights when you take off and they will shut off when you put the gear up and befor you land they will come on. Try it you'll like it
