This thread is as boring as the other ones on this exact subject. Other than pictures of shipping accidents, it's the same old crap spewing...and uninteresting. Those who have actually put money on the Berkut have just cause to speak their minds, but those who don't, and are only interested in tearing down a company that is trying to bring innovative subjects to modelers, are once again, an embarrassment to the hobby. Hopefully for you guys, once Fusco gets on track, another company will have problems so you can relish in their misfortune and rip them to death. Otherwise, how will you have any fun?

You don't have to read these posts, SDCrashmaster.

It's nice to have at least one Fusco thread open, all the rest seem to get closed down for off-topic nonsense (such as the pictures).

Anybody get their LongKut/Berkeze yet?

He asked for me to call him today after 2:00pm eastern, and I'll pass along details as soon as I find out more information. I think we are getting closer!

I phoned once shortly after 2:00pm eastern, got the answering machine. I got tied up with business stuff shortly after, and didn't have a chance to call again.

I'm going to try again today in the next couple of hours, I'll let you know what I find out.

It really has NOTHING to do with "tearing down a company" at all. It has everything to do with providing a product in a timely manner..........!

I am reasonably sure that even you can understand that........How long would you be in business if you took a clients money, promised a delivery date and never made it on time....? In your line of work, the TIME LINE is everything...! The fact that, people that have not ordered the kit, are questioning something, is not tearing down a company at all...It is just potential customers doing research on whether to buy one or not. Do you not talk to clients (Sales) whether you have received payment from them...? Would you sell something to a client, that you have not developed or have proof of concept, and take their money for it before you produced a product......how many excuses would you be able to make on delivery if it dragged out for over 5 months.....?

The Company is doing a good enough job of tearing down themselves, anything said on this board is not affecting that......

No one has even bothered to answer the questions of the people waiting for the kits, other than promises, that do not appear to even be consistent from one to the other.

Do you not think that certificate #3 should have received something by now...? The fact that someone questioning something, should be slammed, is something that we fought wars about........can you say "Free Expression".....? If you are not part of the answer....you are part of the problem.......! Most of us are part of the "answer", because we are are still looking for them......! An "Innovative" idea would be to let someone know what the Hell is going on...........

As hattend said, you are welcome to NOT read this thread........

Does anyone have a clue as to the TWO locations of manufacturing....? Would that be Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama, Reno, NV, Washington State, or any of the 9 distributor locations....? I am just curious where they are making the kits, as all of the distributors show the SAME pictures of the "SHOP" and claim "THEY" are making them.........Now that's 'Daring to be Different"..........!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why not call them and find out for yourself?

If you can't (or won't) do that, then I'll let you in on the two locations. One is in Junction, Texas, and the other is in Salida, Colorado.

Thanks for the information.......

For obvious reasons, they, the Company, are not really receptive to me or anything that I may have to offer, say or question. Has nothing to do with Won't or will NOT call........

I HAVE already found out a lot of information for myself, that I would not post here, on this subject....as I said earlier, I am NOT into company bashing, just trying to find out information and the truth...............

So nothing is being manufactured in Tennessee....?
The shop pictures are from Tennessee, I think......Val'a said he is working 14 hour days trying to get the kits out, is he in Texas, or Colorado....? Surely someone is doing quality control.......

Thanks

Gotcha!!

Sorry for the joke... I thought you might catch on, but then again it wasn't a really good joke at all.

As far as I know, both manf. sites are in Tenn. I called Val'a earlier and he was up to his elbows in glass, and asked for me to give a call back a little later when he had more time to talk. I'm going to drop him another line this evening and find out the total scoop on the two locations.

The shop pictures would have had to have been in Alaska wouldn't it? Isn't that the prototype in the photos? Isn't that Mike James and/or Greg Weeks? Where's Greg Live?

There used to be a picture of the molds being shipped out (from Alaska?) but I can't find it anymore.

How are they building in two locations with one set of molds?

Just curious

My best guess, most of those pictures of the prototype are either in Mike's workshop in the early stages, then when Greg enters the scene they are at his workshop. Some of the video credits state that they are both present during the flights, so both are probably close to Palmer, Alaska.

If you look on Mike's website, www.nextcraft.com, you can find them there under "projects". Here is the specific link:

GREAT question! Maybe Val'a is doing the glassing with his equipment, then the other shop is completing the assembly?

The pictures I was refering to are on the "Contact" page of the site, not the ones showing the prototype being built...........
