Gents – This puppy is still alive, I’m just dead but will change that for 2013.

Currently working on a Secret Weapon bird – you’re gonna love it – will post address to it once I post it.

But as for this puppy, all I need to do is mount the engines, fuel tanks, and connect all the wires – no hard task I know, just busy with other new stuff. She will fly in 2013.

hello to all,
my name is Martin, i live in the tiny island of Malta in the mediteranian. i am trying to get some information about the TMMY DC-3. i already have a 35% Cessna from Tommy, but now i would like to get the DC-3 from him. i would like to know from you guys who have one and flown it how is the model in flight, if it handles like my Cessna then it should be awesome. The flying site of my club is about 198 meters long so we are a bit restricted on choosing large models.
any info on this model before i pull the trigger would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
Martin.

Martin, what up...

Wow! Next month will be 3 years since I started this thread.

Well, can't help you on its flight handling, haven't flown mine yet but she'll fly next year.  Retracts cost is separate - $600 three years ago, more now I'm sure. And if you get the electric version, way more.  I originally had the phneumtic set; sent to Down & Lock for electric conversion at $300 or so. Now, Down & Lock makes all the electrics for Robart, so maybe they will cost a mere $800 instead of over $900 for me.

I wouldn't really be concerned of her in flight; Tommy has been proven by you via his Cessna. I too use to own his Cessna; loved it.

I'm currently working on my Secret Weapon, you'll see it next year also, but my next large puppy is this   http://www.billhempel.com/pawnee/index.html

I opened a thread on it somewhere in this joint.

Anyways, Good Luck...
