Midwest Strikemaster

Could anyone tell me what the decals consist of for the strikemaster? I'm going to order the plans and wing cores soon.

I'd always wanted one but never bought a kit, wish I had! (Kits on e-bay seem pretty expensive to buy so I'll scratch mine)

Thanks

I had that kit back when ,but don't remember looking in it to see if the decals even came with it. All the adds showed it done up as a Navy plane . Found a old add for it in a June 1976 RC Modeler on page 131. Should be one of those old buzzards in Omaha that would have a magazine of that vintage . If you can't find one send me your address & I will send you mine or maybe a copy of the add . OK ? MAX H.

Thanks Big Max for the offer. I found a picture of one in an old Tower catalog. I think when I order the plans that they send you a copy of the original magazine article. Maybe it has some pictures.
Thanks

I happen to have the complete set of those decals. I found that kit in my shed and I'm building now and I'm not planning on using them.
Email me if you are interested. You may have them for the postage.

That kit sure has a lot of sanding to do.

Hircfler, sent you an email. I'll take em.

I'm planning on ordering cores from Dynamic Balsa. They have a lot of the Wing Mfg. Cores that they used to sell.

Do you have an address for Dynamic Balsa Might get a set of cores from they if they aren't outragious. The Strikemaster comes out a little heavy but flies great. However they will self destruct if you are flying inverted at 30 feet and dumb thumb it with up elevator. Poor thing didn't survive.

Sometimes you win sometimes you just mess up.

Hi there

If you go to the RCM site and look for plan #553 it will show you the picture with decals that came with the kit. I have built two kits (20 years ago ) and now about to start another one from the plans. The new plans from RCM does not give you the throws for the Rud,El,Al >>>>does any body have them???

thanks ahead of time

Gotta love that Strikemaster! I built one from RCM plans before the kit came out and two from the kit. Next was a .60 sized one using a Brushfire pattern plane wing (looks/flies killer). now I have scaled that plane up to a .90 size. Not yet finished but in the works.
Do-it!
Rob
