I'm Real new to this hobby and just picked up the xxx-t, i was wondering which stock motor should i go with and which modified motor? As well as what pinion gears to buy. I dont wanna go broke buying motors for this yet okay thanks!!!

Me and a lot of other guys around here love the P2K Pro for stock. It's not too spendy and it's got some good torque. I don't know about mod though, I'd look at what Fantom has to offer for mod. If you're going to use the p2k pro motor with your truck, depending on how loose the dirt is on your track, I'd go with a 21 or 22 tooth pinion. Mod you'd want a smaller pinion the lower the turn. Mod motors run at higher rpms.

thanks for the info... so are you saying the looser the dirt the lower pinion gear.

I have a xxxt sport and i use a P2K2 IT HAS GOOD ACCELERATION AND FAST TOP SPEED.
