Status: offline 		I built a very useful tool for mixing epoxy from a piece of plywood (about 3 by 6 inches) with a couple of supports on one end to hold a spool of calculator paper on a dowel. The paper passes under a piece of hacksaw blade on thin plywood standoffs and held at the other end by a rubber band. Mix the epoxy and tear off the paper against the hacksaw blade after the expoxy cures. Not my original idea - I swiped it from one of the RC magazines years ago.

Status: offline 		I have found disposable plastic knives to be good for both mixing and spreading epoxy. The serrated edge acts like the trowels used to tile floors, leaving an even amount of epoxy in lines as the epoxy slips between the teeth. There are several different sizes of teeth available, depending on which restaurant you liberate the knife from.
Also, since they are plastic you can flex them to pop the epoxy off after it cures.

Status: offline 		I use the backing of FedEx slips. I have a whole stack that I kept when the company changed the address. I use it once or twice, then throw it away.
