i have an OS FT 120 twin i was curious if running my coolpower™ 30% heli fuel is to much nitro for it>?
i would love to run same fuel in all my stuff .
i run it in both of my 40 sized planes. (and my 30 and 60 sized chopper) works perfect. it has the necessary oil content.. but i heard rumors that high nitro is OS motors. does not work well....

5-10% nitro fuel works very well in these engines. 30% nitro would be a waste of money in my view and may lead to detonation problems if run too lean. OS four strokes have higher compression ratios than the YS & later Saitos and do not need the high nitro fuel.

O.S. Max 4-stroke engines run best on 15% nitro or lower, except for the FS-120 Surpass I and II engines, which were set up for 20% oil and 20% nitro. The current FS-120 Surpass III comes from the factory for 20% oil and 10% nitro.

The O.S. Max multi-cylinder engines run best with a fuel that has at least 16% oil content and 5%-10% nitro. 15% nitro won't hurt them, though you won't see much performance improvement between 10% and 15% nitro.
