Hi,

For 100 bucks you should get some chaper JR radio. Never had any eperience with them and I know absolutley nothing about them.

AM - stands for amplitude modulation, think of it as a analog signal. What your car does is determined by how long the radio waves are. When you get futher away than your car starts to glich. That happens because the signal gets weaker.

FM - stands for frequency modulation, think of it as digitan signal. It's similar to how computer transfers data. Here the amplitude remains the same, but what your car does is determined by how frequendly the signal changes. If you go futher your car wont get gliches, but at some point you lose controll totally, and ther's nothing to do about it.

The point where you lose controll totally is about the same in FM and AM, but with AM you'll just get cliches, as a warning sign.

Hope this helped you to understand things, I understand that's not what you asked, but I like to seem smart
