Just flew my Fixx and I really like this little plane. I find it very stable and still aerobatic.

One question though, is the esc supposed to stop the prop at low thottle during flight? This one windmills at minimum stick making landing hard on the drivetrain.

If it is supposed to brake the prop something is not right. Any setup change suggestons will be helpful.

Tx is JR783h with Hitrec 555 Rx.

Thanks,

Jim

Haven't modified my Fixx yet but this looks very promising.

The ESC on the stock fix does not have a brake which is a good thing. It should be free wheeling. Gear boxes have been known to have the spur gears stripped by the pinion when the brake is programmed for some speed controls. I've flown my Fixx on stock configuration and with an Astro 010 14T, GWS 300 modified gear box 2.8:1 ratio, APC Slow Fly prop 8x6 and 3s Etech 1200 LiPo and never broke any prop on this configuration or the stock configuration. I even disabled the brake on the brushless ESC.
