Very disappointing to say the least. I’ve had a 38cc on pre-order for months now. Looks like I will have to cancel and look for something else.

Mate, don't write everything off yet!
As far as I'm aware of, Henry is away at the moment but he may have things up his sleeve. He normally does!

Hey Boys

I m back... Sorry for the lack of being here. My other businesses have taken a lot of my time away. And that time was not really pleasant as I have had to lay off many people. And there is nothing MORE crappier than doing that. It ripped my guts out. We are working to get them back as soon as possible and that has been the focus of my time spent.

Anyways..... to OUR business here....
The 60cc's that we have been testing are going well. We have a couple of teams doing the tests and they are coming back with smiles. Over in Spain, where they have also been testing the 60cc engine, they are quite impressed with the engine. There is video of the engines, and I will post as soon as they become available.

The 38cc and 23cc. The cylinders are the main and only hold up. Everything else is done and done from all conversations with the factory. This is the most frustrating part, and one that I cannot control.
That said.. there is some other great information coming shortly too... not really about the engines.. but great information nevertheless.

More coming boyz....stay tuned.

Henry

Here are some pictures that might cheer some of you up. Momma Sboch and Baby Sboch. One has a 56 and the other the 28.
Also some pictures of the engine decals from Tom at Plane Addicts. He can make them in all colors and they look great.

Looks nice Tom.

Well I got my maiden done on my YD-Aero 112 powered MXSR . An airframe change showed a dramatic improvement in visual performance all around. I used the Xoar 27 3Da that I had on my extra which is designed for a larger airframe. I decided to try this prop on the plane first instead of switching to one of the other props so I would have a fair comparison of airframes to motor/prop combo.

So even though I saw a noticable difference in performance I will end up switching out props for one that will better fit this airframe. I know my buddy James took video of the maiden so hopefully i will have something to post soon.

My set-up

YD-Aero 112cc motor
Power HD 8325HV
Miricle servo arms
2-5200 Li-ions
AR9100 power safe RX
JR 9303 2.4
RCexl opto kill switch

I still need to do a once over on the plane to make sure everything is good also. I will be flying it tomorrow again if the weather is good.

Yeah the weather sucks here to. That is absolutely no reason to be so Quiet.

Tomorrow the weather is going to be cold but not much wind so I think I'll go flying. May be I can come up with a video or something to keep me busy. If you guys stay Quiet I won't show you the video.

PS: We know it's flying weather in Oz and Florida.

No the 100cc plane sill isn't available. It's getting close. No mater since I don't have everything I need for it yet. It probably won't be finished before March. I'm not in a hurry on that one.I won't be ordering the plane until before Christmas. I'm waiting for Santa to drop off Some $ in my Christmas Stocking. I've been leaving milk and cookies out every night for two weeks. They keep disappearing. I take that as a good sign. I'm wondering why I'm gaining weight.

I do have a serious announcement. The XFC Extreme Flight Championship has been moved to June 3,4,5 2011. That creates a problem for our Gas Engine fly In. We will have to move the date. I'll post the new date as soon as I know. I think all the dates in June are taken by AMA and the Jet Rally. That is one disadvantage of being so close to AMA Headquarters.

Tom,
Also July is taken up by the Nationals at Muncie. We may have to take a look at mid August. We can open it up for discussion at the December club meeting.

Got some videos coming soon. They will be unedited just like if you were standing there with us. Blunders and all. May have 4 videos all together. I'm trying to keep them short.
