This refers to a P40 flown by Col. Scott, "white 7".

What the heck does this label say??????
Okay, I figured out that it says this for the most part, I think??

"CREW WEIGHT 200 LBS.
SERVICE THE AIRCRAFT WITH GRADE 100/110 FUEL. IF NOT AVAILABLE ??????????? WILL BE ?????????? FOR EMERGENCY.

??????????????????????????????????????????????
?????????????????????????????????????????????? ".

There is some red text after the Black lettering above.

Does anyone have a book, or other reference material that will define what the label says?

It means consult the T.O. , or Technical Order for information on what to use for fuel if Grade 100 or 110 aviation gasoline is not available.

The Air Force's name for "owners manual" was and still is "Technical order" or T.O. The T.O. probably said to use alcohol or car gas or anything that makes the engine run. (in an emergency such as the base is being over run by the enemy!)

The T.O. listed on your fuse was part of a large set of books used by the mechanics which explained everything there was to know about the aircraft from servicing, to complete disassembly and reassembly.

Thanks, I know what it "means". I was just trying to duplicate it by creating a water slide decal and couldn't make out what it said.

Cub1 seems to be close but there's more on this label than what he says.

Can anyone identify what the red lettering says???

Just for info sake.. This is/was a Ziroli P40 I had purchased on the internet last year. It was a nice looking P40 but very poorly built. I did a lot of work on it to make it airworthy. Unfortunately, it lasted just a few weeks before the wing failed, and the airplane was a total loss.
I'm now trying to replicate it. I saved some of the Lettering and labelling from the wreck, but not all. Some went into the trash can. Oh well......beware of what you buy on the internet!!!!!!!!!!!

I copied and pasted part of your text in your first post.

This is what mines says,

"Crew Weight 200lbs. Service this airplane with Grade 100-130 Fuel if not available T.O. NO CG51 will be Consulted for Emergency Action Suitable for Aromatics"

I didn`t know what the T.O. stand for until Yak18 replied.

Also I can`t make out the red lettering in your pic, maybe you can get a real tight shot of the decal by itself.

Your Right!..... on the Grade 100-130

Sorry Man I couldn't make it out either
it should be 100/130 fuel though not 100/300
Take care and good luck!

A good landing is one you can walk away from, but, a great landing is when you can re-use the airplane.... immediately
