i want to get a buggy that is not as low to the ground like a tc3 but will still go fast, really fast. i dont want it to cost over $550 and not rtr. I want all of the gears will be metal so i can a any motor, and so i can go fast. im thinking of losi or ae but i just need to know the right buggy and i want it to be electric.

You could get a XXX or a B4, those are the main choices

That's a loaded question. If you can, go to a club race somewhere and watch a buggy race, then walk around the pit area and ask guys questions about their buggies and check them out. I'd go with the Kinwald XXX or the B4 for sure though. In the end it's just a matter of driver preference.

I Think you be happy with the B4, why? because of parts access and other happy incounters with the B4.

Hey Matt sry to break it to ya but what your asking (all metal gears) isnt gonna happen...thats way to much resistance...but if you want at really fun easy to maintain buggy i suggest the Team Losi XXX4...all the diff. are easy to get into...not extreamly low to the ground..the 4WD improves the turning (by this i mean better handling when you turn not haveing you to over compensate a turn. the acceleration on this buggy is cmpatable w/ a touring car(basically an offroad version of the XXXS). If you want just a 2WD get the XXX or the XXX Kenwald edition all of these cars are great. I would stay away from all of the associated cars!! JK JK i do own all of the cars above and the B4 but in MY OPINION i believe the upgraded RC10B4 is basically the same as the origional XXX...But all of these are great competition cars or just fun basher cars...I mean dont bash to much but most ppl dont realize how durable buggies really are...GOOD LUCK!
