does anyone know how to get the old T-Maxx ( w/ the .15 pro engine) to do wheelies WITHOUT buying a new engine or paying a bunch?

Thanks,
Larry

push down on the back end

i dont know if it will, but doing these will heighten your chances and your front end possibly:

-use really stiff rear springs and front too i think
-set it as high as possible
-altitude affects the wheelie ability, nearby sealevel is easier i think i heard, i could be wrong

but either way i dont think they are all that impressive. i can do them in the grass, my tires slip on pavement... but i just wheel and run over moms flowers and get yelled at, do not operate near moms flowers

Another thing you can do is try to shift the CG to the back as far back by moving any batter packs or heavy items back some.

Other than that.. flatlander seems to have covered it well.

Also. you might wanna lean out the LSN a bit to get some power but watch the temperatures!

IF it still doesnt grab well, gear it down some more. And maybe even scuff up the bell so it grabs better

If you do all that and it doesn't work, you can always try a smaller clutch bell. An 18T or even a 16T bell will give you lots of torque! Stormer Hobbies has them if you don't have a LHS. Racers Edge makes the really low numbers like 14T.
