Just another example of a "elected" official abusing his power for personal gain.
Hitler was NOT elected. He was "Given" his position(if you can believe that one) by a frail, aging Pres. Hindenburg.

This story was just a plant to rout out undesirables in the greatest country in the world.

I hope Tom Ridge gets all our names right.

This is nothing more than pure PC bull. It is very sad to see that the PC crowd wants to rewrite history in this way. This political correctness crap is going to be the end of us all!!!

I was referring to Ellensohn. We have city officials here doing the same sh@#. We have one that is blocking our proposal to use some Superfund Site land as an airpark, but he is blocking it because he is the contractor that is haying the field and taking in the money.
they actually planned on makeing the judes work... so they forgot their "bad thoughts" (in this case their religion)... i think the motto of the concentration camps was "working makes thoughts free" (or something like that... hard to translate...) and
I've been to auschwitz, the arch over the gate to the "exit" says "freue durch arbeit" (i think) but the translation plaque said "freedom through work - the prisoners were promised that if they worked hard enough, they would be set free". once they were too tired to cary on, they were murdered.

I read that 10 years ago, and I still remember, maybe not word for word, but that's the jist
'nuff said.

Katchmarek -> Nowotny's Ashes to be exhumed ** READ (7/23/2003 6:11 PM)

Hi All, Well I was surprised this morning when checking my email...I received a reply from Vienna regarding Nowotny's remains. It is sort of vague and I don't know exactly what to make of it...but I think it means that they are leaving him where he is but the City will no longer maintain the gravesite...it will now be taken care of by the Federal Ministry of the Interior as a war grave.
Please if you have interest, check out this site:

it is an interview with Adolph Galland about Maj. Walter Nowotny.

Mr. Robert A. Bailey

Dear Mr. Bailey,

With regard to your letter addressed to Mayor Dr Michael Häupl regarding the tomb of honour of Walter Nowotny, we would like to inform you as follows:

The Vienna City Council decided to disallow the tomb of honour in its sitting on 23 May 2003. This means that the City of Vienna will no longer take care of the tomb. The tomb will, however, be maintained as war grave. In Austria, the Federal Ministry of the Interior is responsible for war graves.

We hope this information proves helpful.

Yours sincerely,

Case Officer: Herbert Drexler

What you have here is "Governmental Double-speak" in reading between the line it says "We are not getting involved in this, although we started it and now wish we hadn't, we will now do the Baffle them with Bul****t two step and hope it goes away finally. You should recognize it, you hear it every day on the news reported from Washington. It is just a little more polished up here.
