Hi, I am a partner in an aerial photography and video LLC in South Western Michigan. My partner flies and maintains our Bergin Observer and I do the camera work. The Observer is powered by the Hansen modified G-23 and is running 710mm Mr. Carbon blades and a full body. Cameras are a Sony Handi Cam and a Fugi digital still with 3.1 max resolution. The camera gimble can pan and/or tilt 360 Degrees with over 270 Degrees unobstructed forward viewing. We are running a 2.4 Ghz video downlink to a video headset for through the lens framing, however the signal is not good enough for recording a production image. We store the production images in the camera media then edit with our computers. The finished product is recorded to video cassette or DVD. My partner just finished work on a gyroscopic stablization system of her own design that is really smooth. The camera gimble remains almost motionless as the heli yaws and rolls without any guidance from me. Takes a lot of the work out of my end. We are part time but are gaining work at an exponential rate. We hope to take this full time in the next two years. We just finished a week long project videographing 80 acres of tornado damage for a county park. Most of the video was taken at over 1000 ft. It is an enjoyable trade. It's nice to be able to make some money doing something you like to do.

That sounds great Rixter. Thanks for breaking the ice in this board. Your first post brings up questions that I think deserves a new thread which I will begin. Lets keep it going.
