Looking for a good and inexpensive source for glow heads , reed valve, and gaskets for black widow.

Are there different cox glow heads ? If so, how do you pick one ?

Thanks.

Check with Burnis Ray of Parts is Parts @ BurnisR@aol.com. More parts than you can think of. Well heck here are the part numbers from his list:

0-325 -Standard .049 head=$8.00
0-1702 -High Comprssion TD type head=$8.00
0-315 - Texaco head=$8.00
0-399A -Overhaul Kit(new gaskets,screws,reed etc)=$4.00
0-364 - Metal reed=$2.00
The overhaul kit is they way to go for the money!

1702 head for more power, Texaco head if you are swinging big lumber! Hope this helps.

Later,
Tim

Tim - you truley are a hidden wealth of information.

I emailed Burnis Ray and just got this reply a little while ago-

Timothy, Cox parts are part of a
100 page catalog which sells
for $9.00 this price includes
shipping.

Burnis L Ray
6027 W. Ken Caryl Pl.
Littleton, CO 80128-7086

so that about says it, kinda pricy but I'm gonna send off for it today. I have been paying $10+ for Texaco heads. I do have a friend that has the Reed Re-Build kits, even the ones with the cool blue spinners, but still he doesn't have all the Cox line.

Thank you so much, I'll let you guys know when I get it,

the prole
