AM, I'm sure you're tired of being asked this, but when and what STs will be first available?

Hiya Volfy!

First out of the gate is the G90, and it is due in the next 90 days.

The rest of the line is anticipated within the year.

The new engines are great! as good as or better than prior productions. Look for some exciting new things from ST!

Sincerely,
Mrs. AnnMarie Cross

When you mean new things, do you mean they redesigned there engines or just changing to different carbs on there Larger engines? I've had a 2000 and presently have a 3000. I love the engine but hate tuning them. I'm still stuck on my 3000 with not being able to get it to run in a verticle position. Starts great and transitions great but when I go verticle it dies. I've plugged one exhaust side with still no luck. Next step is I'm going for a pump or OS7D carb if I can find one. Look forward to seeing the new engines, what will the price look like.

AM, thanks for the honest heads-up. I really don't mind waiting, as long as y'all don't get into the Microsoft vaporware style of product release announcement.

One thing I've always liked about my SuperTigres is the level of detail. Take, for instance, the machining on the underside of the engine mounting tabs. Most makers don't bother with this extra step; they just leave the casting the way it is and call it good. I also like the way ST machine the prop hub to recess the front of the crankcase inside of it. Helps keep the crud off the front bearing. Yet another detail often overlooked by other makes.

ST also endeared me for still offering ringed piston engine along side otherwise identical ABC counterparts. Other makes have long since quit giving modelers this option.

I genuinely hope that in making the new ones better, ST doesn't forego these details that made ST one of my all time favorites 2strokes.

Bigbri,

Yes parts for existing engines are coming forward as well. Exactly what/how much/if any will be discontinued I don't yet know, sorry. We have, in fact, gotten a large quantity of parts already which have filled many back orders and allowed us to repair many engines which were waiting.

Thanks, Volfy! I will certainly share your kind words with our Senior Manager who handles ST.

Sincerely,
Mrs. AnnMarie Cross

Hi AMC.

Ninety days have passed since post #2 and I wondered if there was a new date for G90 availability? I would appreciate it if you'd let me know.

Thank you,

Bruce

Bruce,
Unofficial is 9/1/02, but I don't have a confirmed "items will be shipped by" to offer you. Sorry.
