Almost forgot the pictures. You can't really see the fiberglass but it's there.

Hi FF,

Great job on the build I am very envious of your talents.  I have a friend in Colorado (http://matttanner.com/Welcome.html)  that fly's a Pitts S1 and have decided I want to build an RC Pitts and finish it like his.  From what I see yours would be perfect both size and build.  I have built lots of kits but never a complete scratch build, I think I am ready.  You mentioned earlier you were thinking about putting together an AutoCad package or something similar.  Just wondering if you have and if so is it available.

Thanks,  Bill  (bwyatt@sbcglobal.net)

Hi Bill

Getting close but have not done it yet. Still need to paint and fly mine . I have a laser cutter guy that was working on the cad and cutting the parts, I have the cowl mold to make the cowls, I can't say at this time when it will be ready . I can let you know.

Frequent this is just incredible man!

I love the Pitt's there are a few here in NZ that regularly make an appearance at airshows and it my ultimate 'big bird' build for the future. I would be very keen for the plans/CAD file whatever when you the time comes

Id love to throw a nice twin in there!

I had a BME 80 twin that's pretty light, a Zenoha 80 twin that's heavier, and a couple of 100 twins that would be more powerful. After it's all painted I will decide which engine to use. What ever balances best probably. The plans I made are hand drawn and I may put them in AUTOCAD given the time. I could print a copy from the hand drawn set. I have the mold and I can make the cowls and Canopies for it.

Hello Frequent,

I see it has been awhile since a post was made for this build.  It looks like you where moving right along.  Just currious if you had any pictures of the finished plane.  Beautiful job by the way.  Something for the rest of us to strive for.

Right now it is awaiting paint. I covered the fuselage with 1/2oz fiberglass and it is ready to paint. I have plans to finish it soon.
