I will be sheeting my first set of wings with vacum this weekend. I have used polyurethane glues for this in the past with great success. Will these adhesives cure in a vacum?

Yes they will but of course they won't foam up like under ambient conditions. I'm no expert, but I think it's water that starts a chemical cure as opposed to air drying. Not just blowing my horn, I vacuum bagged some skins to test out my theory and it worked out great.

Normal atmospheric humidity is enough to cure polyu glue. If you happen to have a low humidity shop or live in a dry climate, a very little moisture added to your balsa or whatever will help the cure. Just wipe the balsa lightly with a damp (not wet) sponge is enough. When I'm building in the winter (dry indoors) I usually just huff some warm breath on the balsa, and the moisture from your breath is all it takes.
