First post around here and hopefully not the last. I've been doing scale Rc work for wuite some time, but mostly in the plane dept.

I have a personal preference towards using tin/foil plating on my molds. This method yielded quite high "realism-ratio" on my plane projects, so I decied trying a heli project this time around.

So i'd like to presnt you my Huey UH1D in 1/8.5 scale, length-143 sm for 60-90 class .
this is my first steps

Impressive work !!! I had never seen a tin covered heli before. I hope you post more details (links) about this construction method it looks really time consuming and difficult.
I am a very big Huey fan, I look forward to seeing this model finished

The idea of this method with alu. foil is more realistic aspect .......
