I've never had a plane before and I still don't but I need to know if it is possible for an electric with a max wingspan of 60" to carry a small digital camera (1-10 oz) fairly easily. I'm basically limited to an electric on and I would like it to be actually smaller then 60".

Well, i'm sure as hell NOT the pro on this, but I rekon it should be possible... if a Pico Stick can carry a video camera under it's belly, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to whack a camera on the back of a 50-60"-er.
(admittedly it was a rather SMALL video camera... but hell, you get the point!!)

I fly slope soarers, and on a 50" flying wing I sometimes have to strap on kilo (sorry, 35 oz) of lead... so a camera....

Hang on.... a 10Oz camera... That's kinda heavy isn't it? Still, it should be OK!!

hmm.. Might strap my digital ixus ('elf' in the US?) to the top of the flying wing, punch a hole in the bottom and have the lens looking out of the plane's belly.... that'd be sweet!!

*scoots off to find a scalpel*

Thanks, I just put the 10 oz to see what I'd get the heaviest one was 7.5 oz I believe and the ones I am really comsidering are in the 1-5 oz range.

Again thanks for the help, I'll be checking back if anyone else has any thoughts on this.
