Hello Gentelmen,Here is a pick of my 2 3D wings if you want 3 D power on a wing useMatched and Jigged,Deans conectors Noodle wire SCR sub C cells on the many cobalt and Neo motors out there.Guys run these motors on 2/3 1100 Nimh they work but you dont get the low resistance. as far as the weight it enhances the solid feel of the plane and makes it more wind resistant .I run my batteries and motor exposed for cooling purposes, also Inustrial Velcro make a nice way to hold your packs down and change out fast and easy.See yah round Mike.

Also 10 degrees reverse on the timeing and on 8 cells your doing 200 watts no motor or battery damage, but you know your their wene their nice and warm after a run .I also always take 2 planes out and rotate them between runs, cause you are pushing the edge.

Well ya talked me into it and man was it fun. Climb rate went up 10 degrees and great speed. Heavy winds 20-25 gust are no problem at all. Run time went way down (5 min)but o well, the cg worked out ok in my slinger buy moving the bat all the way up front and i cut .750 out of the forward motor mount bay and 8" was the cg. 20amps wot and the mfg says the motor will handle 25 . I ran a 5.2 x5.2 cam speed prop and will try a faster one next time out. Big diff in performance. Thanks for talking me into it Mike.

Well Mike, I must say im impressed with that prop. I ran it tonight on a Can S400 6V ,8 cell 1100 Nimh. 13amps..static on my Rat. Thats a 27"ws Fan Fold wing. . couldnt huvver ,,,,hehhe or nothing like that but did my first tail slide with the plane,. I could get it to huvver for a second or 2 before the slide. Great prop man. I figured you were pulling my leg at first but now i now different. I hope to get a chance to try it on my cobalt next day or so.( have to cut elevons quite a bit and move horns) I have measured to the best of my ability and come up with 6.5x4 for the FB xl prop. Have you any idea on size? Thanks for the tip.. heres a pic of my Rat with this prop
