Hey, I'm writing because I bought one of the first Zagi Fixx's available and have been surprised at the reviews posted on this site.

Most people seem to feel the FIXX is a horrible flyer and is unstable etc. Our experience has been totally different. At the beginning, to balance it, we went out in the backyard and made a few test glides.

It did quite fine, and was PERFECTLY balanced after adding a single quarter in front of the battery. Performance-wise, it has been GREAT! Many have said it has barely enough power to fly, but for us it has not not been so at all. It is absolutely a delightful flier in my opinion, and does great acro (loops, rolls, split-s, etc.).

So, did we just get a lemon, or what? I'm glad to be on the other side of something like this for a change. I'm usually the one that can't figure out how to make an electric plane fly well. The FIXX is one of our favorite flyers, along with the Wattage Mini Max and the Hobbico Sky Sailer.

If you have a FIXX and like it, please write in so others won't be quite so discouraged or disgusted with Trick RC. I've had a good experience with them.

Don and son Adam

So! I'm not alone!

I too have a Zagi Fixx and I love it! Flies great with a quarter in the nose.

Glad I didn't read all the gloom and doom posts on this forum before I ordered it or I probably wouldn't have.

Just my $2.00 worth ( $.02 adjusted for inflation ).

The problem with the Fixx was that folks were lead to believe that It was going to have similar or better performance that its predecessor the 400 or 400x and be just as durable. That is not the case! The Fixx is a park flyer and should not be compared to its predecessor. I have a Fixx and I agree that it flys great, but it is not a hot rod by any definition. I have a ton of fun chasing thermals with it, and it is a great, relaxing fun airplane, that is perfect for small fields. Adding a little nose weight does improve its flying considerably in breezy conditions. As for durability, it is down right fragile. As a park flyer I think it is a great buy, as a preformance flying wing, well.........it just isn't one of them!

I agree that people shouldn't compare the Fixx to its predecessors, cause that isn't what it was built for!

As for what its made for, an aerobatic park flier flying wing, I think it does great.

Yeppers...the old fixx is not all bad. It is what it is...a slow park flyer! So anybody got any battery suggestions to wake this sleeping beauty up?

The Fixx is a good park flyer stock and comes very well equipped from the factory, If you want to wake it up try the twin motor from GWS and a 3 cell lipo and it turns into a monster but I like it stock, thanks.
