Hi all,
I am getting ready for a build and wanted to ask the opinion of witch kit would be the right one, they may both be equally as good but maybe some info to lean one way or the other.

Thanks

TB

They are both "Builder's Kits". I built the Sig a few years ago. Several of the parts are printed on wood and you have to cut them out yourself (Not die-cut) The wingtips are made by bending four, 1" x 1/16" strips of balsa around the tip former and then sanding them to blend with the LE and TE (Although the BUSA probably does something similar).

Also, the Sig has a 2-piece wing for the full-sized wing, but if you buy the clipped wing version (My preference) the wing is one piece. If I were going to do it again, I'd buy the full-size wing kit and clip it myself so I could have the 2-piece wing option.

They both build a beautiful flier!

Hello Mike. I just bought a 1/4 scale Sig Cub. Pretty much all is in the box, but I did noticed that it was missing the instruction manual. Would you know where I could buy a copy of the manul?

thanks
Alex.

You can goto SIG's web site. www.sigmfg.com Click on [Come on In] then [aircraft] then top right down load [Videos and manuals] then top right [Sig Build Manuals] then scale kits. I know it's a pain but it is there.
