Anyone looking for an alternative to Cox and Norvels may want to try the Wasp .061. After a bit of tinkering, kinked line, the motor ran great on a converted park flyer. I hope to soon have results from some flying with my Dominator 200.

Is anyone else running one? If you are what tips/SECRETS have you found about yours? I noticed the motor is a bit tough to start - mine really does not want to start at any setting but idle.
However, once it did start the power was smooth and transition to high RPM was not a problem.

It should be a fine engine, ABC that turns 25,000 rpm!
It looks like a norvel.
Do you have to use an electric starter to start it?
Let us know what kind of luck you have with it.

Lynn,

I am electric starting the engine right now. Even with the
starter it was taking a second or two to draw fuel. That
was a bit of a problem, but will be resolved soon I hope.

I was impressed by how low the engine would run - sounds
really cool running in the 3500-4000 rpm.
