Right now you can get $50 off on a purchase over $400 so that will basically make your shipping $35. I just received my Tower catalog today and it list the P-40 ARF at $649.00 Getting one shipped for $443.11 is a pretty good deal.

Does anyone have a spinner bolt adapter from Bennetn/Tru Turn or?

That extends to a more solid form of attaching the spinner then a 4" bolt.

I have seen them to where it is a prop adapter and then you only need to use a 1/2" or 1" bolt to hold on the spinner and is more solid.

Any help please.

Have looked all sites...I think ;-)

Man, am I torn. I just bought a Skyshark P-40 that was on sale for $389 shipped. I also bought a set of ESM retracts that turned out to be too big for the Skyshark...but would fit perfect in the TF! Can a man have too many P-40s?

Better check the measurements again.  I concidered the ESM retracts for my TF P-40 but (unless they have changed) the ESM where bigger than the Robarts and would require a lot of modification to fit.  The Robarts just drop in and bolt down.

They have to be getting ready to discontinue it. It is over $100 cheaper than the P-51, and hundreds less than the other two ARFs. Heck, its only 8 bucks more than the .60 size Corsair ARF. With a price like $408.11 it seems like they might be cutting their margins to minimums to end up with 11 cents in the sale price. That is an odd number for Tower.

I looked in there 2013 book and it showed the p-40 GS. Usually if that anual catalog doesn't have it in it, then it is disct.

I didn't see the Yak55M 50cc in it, and it is discounted heavily....
The pitts M12 is as well, but it is still in the catalog so don't count the p-40 out yet....

I would buy the p-40 before the mustang anyday, even if it is full price.... and I am on min. income right now...
This p-40 is awsome....

No doubt! I wonder if/which plane Tower will discount next. I'll bet they sold a lot of P-40's they would not have sold otherwise.

$649 but I had one in my shopping cart for days and decided to pull the trigger. Might need spare parts and at $358.00 it is a steal!

The big brown truck brought mine yesterday. Looks good no damage. Forgot how big the box was, until it was laying in the middle of the living room floor when I got home.

Yeah... it is a great deal. but you still have to buy all the other things (retracts ect) and
I wanted to use my radial....so either the corsair (which has the best wing setup for easy transport)
or the FW190 ....which looks amazing....

I already have a TF p-51 giant that I have yet to finish glassing, wo it makes sence to not have THREE>>>> That is a easy 3,500 or 4,000 for three 50cc
warbirds with retracts..... they an't cheap but well worth it IMHO!....

I pulled the trigger on it after looking at the price of spare parts, the wing set cost almost as much as I paid for the whole kit. The way I've been landing lately I might need some spares and this plane is way too cool to lose.

I just purchased one from Tower (last Wednesday night) at the good price. Going with Sierra gear and a G-62.
Things start to arrive today and I can't wait.

I finally test flew mine today. What a ****cat! From the factory recommended balance and throws, it needed about 5 clicks of down and 3 clicks of right aileron. Had a small amount of down elevator mixed with full flaps and with a 10 mph headwind, it crawled to a landing.

An excellent flyer and I would recommend it to anyone. Engine is a DLE 55 with a J-Tec pitts. Prop was a TF 22x6-10. Will replace with a Xoar 22x10 as soon as it gets here.

Those that used DLE55 and J-tec muffler made for p40. How much cutting of cowl and or muffler tubes was required?
