Back around the first of the year, I asked about a flap/spoiler combination (anterior flap extension which would rise above the wing as the flaps lowered). I tried that first, and although it REALLY slowed the plane down, it didn't give that solid feel that I remembered from flaps alone. Converted it back to regular flaps, and with the 3-servo wing am able to use Crowe, which acts like airbrakes and practically stops the thing, but with a little power will keep flying with good control. I was getting back into the hobby after a several-year hiatus, and I think you were the one that suggested the US as a transition ship for getting back into the higher performance old-style pattern planes. I've flown the wings off the US, and have been flying the old piped ballistic pattern birds comfortably for some time now, but I keep going back to the US as my go-to plane. Now have a couple of 60-size on the shelf, just in case they go away again. Thanks,
