Hi Gang:

Has anybody converted the Fox BB .15 engine to diesel via a Davis head? If so, what were your results/

I have heard from Bob Davis that this is a very good conversion. I have other Diesels that are no longer made that I am running now but I am looking for a good .15 for sport flying that I can get spare parts if I need them.

I am now using a ST G-20/15 that has been chromed and fitted, a MVVS D7 that is very good and a MARZ that is also quite good.

Any suggestions or comments about the Fox?

TIA,

Franchi

Someone reported about a year ago that they were very happy with their Fox .15 conversion.

Additionally, you might try a PAW. It is a current brand and comes in sizes from an .03 to a .60. They can also be purchased from Carlson, or from Eric Clutton (Dr. Diesel).

Over the last number of years we have sold at least 1000 of the fox 15 converaions. I have run a number of them and here are some numbers. 8X4 Cox Gray 14,500, 9X7 Revup 11,800 Rpm. For R/C A 9X6 to 10X6 for combat 8X8.

Franchi,

A Fox .15 with a Davis Diesel conversion is: crude looking, heavy and monster strong for it's size. It just may be the "Best" engine for a Davis head. Mine turned a black MAS 9x4 at 13,000+ RPM

Thanks
Francis
