Is a wing jig necessary if you build right over the plans? If so what are the advantages.

Wing jigs really help when you are making more than one set of wings, speeds up assembly time and ensures repeatability in construction. I've seen some pretty shabby jigs though and that translates into shabby wings....repeatedly.
