Not sure if this has been covered before....

Are there any ways, other than tin and solder, of making your own custom shaped fuel tanks?

I need 8-10 oz tapered fuel tanks to fit in a nacelle. I can't find any ready made tanks in that size that will fit.

I vaguely remember something about Kevlar being used for this.....

Any ideas?

Yes some people are making tanks from kevlar but you might try to find a sullivan flex tank, you can heat it with a covering gun & shape it to your desire.
