Well, I decided to fly my Hummingbird for the first time after tweaking it. I flew it about 40 feet up in the air and when the wind took it from me, I just killed the motor and it went nose first into the ground! :D one of the flybar paddles snapped off. I took the small broken piece out of the paddle and put it back on the heli. I adjusted the flybar, so they were even out. Here's the strange part.. I put in the lighter green color bird seed pack while still using the high pitched (Got messed up during the crash) stock motor, my heli actually HOVERED MUCH MORE SMOOTHLY!! To top it off, the battery pack lasted over 24 minutes! Is this normal for a CHEAP pack? :stupid: I had people watching me and was AMAZED and asked how long does the battery lasts.. I didn't know what to say. lol!! Another thing, my Hummingbird hovers off the gorund nice and strong with only my throttle going 1/4th the way up. I must have done SOMETHING right for being a complete newbie, but I am good with electronics and good with my hands. (No sick inside jokes please) :D What do you think may have caused my heli to work smoother and the battery lasting almost half an hour??? After looking over teh prices for spare parts, I'm going to buy TWO more HB kits for parts. It's a WASTE and much more expensieve buying one piece by piece..
