I want to convert my D model mustang to a C model.
This kit has a molded in upper strake from the fuse to the vertical stab.
I was wondering if there were any "C" canopy Mustangs built that had the aft vertical strake ?
I know I could chop off the strake but I do not want to weaken the fiberglass structure.
If anybody has a profile picture of this set up please let me know.
Thanks Greg

Some razorback Mustangs were indeed retrofitted with the dorsal fin. See pic below. In order to have a truly accurate B/C you will also have to change the leading edge strake on the wing as it is much smaller than on the D model. Not important if you are just going for fun scale. Good luck with it.
