Hi Mike,
I have a Prism 7X. Inside the battery compartment I see that their are two metal bands. They appear to be for a 8 cell penlight battery holder. I called customer service and they said that it was. The question I have for you is, What is the polarity for installation? They are not marked. Also does this radio have polarity protection just in case I make a mistake?Is the top one + or - ? Will a standard 8cell aa holder like from radio shack work with this?
