Borzak,

That was point well taken.

GeeBeeJim,

My partner and have discussed this as an option. It was scrapped due to extra cost of the hardware per channel. Now that we have had more than one person request it it may be un-round filed.

I am glad we posted with our ideas. I looks like we have some work ahead of us.

As I see them, there are three:

1. Limited amperage output
2. No Lithium capability
3. No way to udate the firmware

You said that you have not been able to get one....they are available. Consider it a business expense and find a way to get one. Check it out, address it's shortcomings and you'll have a winner.

I went through the process of purchasing chargers a year ago after an extended period of idleness.
I purchased a Sirius Pro a Sirius Test and a Schultz 6-330D.

Why ?????

The Sirius Pro is a very good quick charger but does not discharge, and it does not charge single cells or Lead Acid.

Sooooooooooooooo ....
Along came the 6-330d ... can charge most everything and two outputs, although the second output is only 300ma.
Use it to charge my On-Board Glow Driver battery (single cell) and can field charge my starter batteries, and a good backup for the no-brainer operation of the Sirius.

For my use a three output charger would work ... 1.) Transmitter 2.) Receiver ... 3.) Glow Driver.

I did not read how many cells each port would be capable of, but if they cover 1 ... 20 something .... you could fill some gaps with 3 or 4 outputs for many "typical" applications as stated above.

Keep us informed ... I'm always looking for good chargers ... battery maintenance is important to me. It would be nice to only carry one charger to the field !

Thank you for the list of improvements that could be made to the Litco. We will consider buying one, although we have a pretty good idea on what it does and how it works.

Maybe you can get someone to send you a copy of the Alphas manual ? That might be enough.
