Status: offline 		I've just put my YS91AC in a 1/4 scale Cub I bought -used, I'm gettin gready to fly it with a 16x6 prop (MA). I'm getting 9100 RPM with 25%nitro, 20 oil Omega fuel. Does this seem good?

Tried a 16x8 and could only get 7100. I was surprised at the difference. Is that normal??

That sounds about right with that prop. May be too much prop for that engine. Plus the MA props are not known for their efficiency. You would get better rpms with a 15x6 APC. I get about 10.1 K on 30% with the 15x6.

Status: offline 		16x8 is a little too much. 16x6 should put around high 8 to low 9K.

I am running APC 15x8 on my 91AC 30% Heli fuel. It is around 8700 rpm rich.

Since I am flying Pattern, I don't use 15x6 because of noise.
