FEJ New Lear Jet

This is for "interest" right now. If enough people want to get one, the production can be done by August. I have been pushing for this and they have finally agreed. Jihn and I may have to be the "ditributors" for it, but I think it will be a nice change from "only warbirds". PLEASE give us some feedback.
Right now we are going for 120" long and P-120's-P-160's.
Thanks to all that respond.
BTW: our T-33 is about to come out now!

Lowell

Lowell,
tell them to do a King-Air 90 or 200 Or a beech starship. I would buy either one of those in a heartbeat. Especially if large enough for a pair of wren Turboprops

Thomas, maybe down the line if this goes well.
Bob, the model I sent to them was a "21" I beleive...we want to do the "31" as pictured as an option.
Thanks,
Lowell

If they go with the 31A, please omit the baggage mod like the one in the pic on the website. The plane has much better lines without that mod.
A 35 would provide better vis for orientation because of the tip tanks yet it still has the big engine nacelles.

Grodus, the 35 is my favorite. I agree with you. We are just starting now on it, so we'll see.

Richie, as I stated in the opening, P-120-160 engines. 120's should be all it needs though.

Bob, that is what we originally wanted to do. It is the sexiest one out there. Problem is there are no plastic models of it. The one company that was doing it had the owner pass away and the wife is now trying to run it. If they get going again, that would be the one we do first.

Skyhawk, wasn.t sure. I said that earlier. The plastic model we have is of an early version. Must be the 23. Thanks.

Readyturn, no citation coming. Sorry...

Dave, the 106 is still in line. We are doing the T-33, the Cougar 1/5 and then the Lear. More coming!!

Thanks guys for the great input. Go to the site and look at what they have in the works. Click on and let them know what you would like. We also have an A-4 in the works.

Lowell

Bill, YOU NEED ONE!! You love twins! I'll post more pictures as I get them.

Hey Viper. Thanks...my wife used to fly Falcon 20's. Would love to do it. Let's see how the Lear goes.

Make sure you guys go to the web site and look at what's new/coming. flyeaglejet.com

I would love to see a Lear. Have time in a 35A, but mostly flew Hawkers, Westwind II, and B-727's. Doesn't Mark Frankel make a kit? Or are you talking about an ARF? The other problem that I see, is if the guys with the money have one, do they have the talent to fly one? Do they understand that the "T" tail stalls first when slowing down for landing or trying to take off too soon? Or if too slow, the wing will block out the "T" tail, thus having no control? I have seen a guy loose a Lear model on take off, because it would come off in ground effect, but wasn't ready to fly. You will have to make it more forgiving for the average jet pilot or more non-scale wings and tail. You would also have to put in corrective thrust for the loss of an engine or an engine that isn't running at the same spool up time on take off, or there will be a LOT of center line thrust take off problems. I see it as a great novaltiy to have one, but if it isn't forgiving to fly, it will end up in the ground as a flop, due to customers wrecking theirs'.

PS- Would also love to see a B-727. I know there is a kit out of Europe for this too.

Dan, Mark did have a build model of the 35 and it flew great. Problem was it took a year and a pound of flesh to build! This will be an ARF and we will do extensive testing to make it "user friendly". All of their airframes go through this and they do fly great. Thanks for the input.

Pete, this isn't really the place to get into these matters, but if you have an order in I am sure an email will get a responce with a delivery date. I have never had an issue with any of the orders I have placed for me or any of my customers. They are always on top of it and delivery time is what they say. The Mig and the A-10 had some extensive changes made to make them fly better and more user friendly. These "pre-production"problems do exist from time to time. When you get your model I am sure you will be pleased with it.

Lowell
