Here is my experience with AM......
I placed a small order which was processed.....for that read CHARGED FOR within two days. lead time was said to be six to eight weeks....but my CC had already been debited with an amount that would have covered Fedex FAST EXPRESS!!
Well after the 8 week period, I sent an email querying the status of my order.....NO REPLY.
So I called, and was told that my order had been shipped out the previous week, and that an email had been sent with shipping details.
No email, of course, so I emailed asking for tracking details for the shipment. NO REPLY. Three weeks later (which was more than enough time for my order to arrive) I had had it. I did some research about internet crime/fraud.
I called AM and asked if they had heard of IC-3. Answer NO. I said, well you are about to, as I had reported them for internet fraud. About three hours later, I had an email from AM reversing my CC charge, and 48 hours later the money was back in my account. Why, I ask if my order had been shipped?? Anyway, it was too little too late. He will be receiving a call from IC3, which is the internet crime branch of the FBI.
That's what it takes to get this jerk to wake up.

Success! I got my plans in the mail today. Although I dont really know how by looking at the package. All I bought was some plans so he shipped them in a cardboard tube. He put the plans inside and then caped the ends off with some not so tight fitting plastic ends. Anyway one of them must have fallen off somwhere between his store and my house because when I picked up the package only one cap was in place. The other end of the package was wide open and I or anyone else could have just pulled the plans right out or they could have even fallen out but somehow they didn't. Anyway I got them and looked at them and they are just what I orderd so I am happy.

and it only took how many days?

lets see, I first contacted him about printing some plans on the April 23. It then took him till May 3 to respond back to me with an invoice for the plans, which I then payed the same day. Then after that it took him until June 10th to print and ship them to me. So all in all it took just under 7 weeks or 48 days to be exact

The best way for him to go away is to not order anything from him. We see this way too much. Look at the Lado retract thread. People just keep sending money to them.
Nice to see someone got the law after him.

jagran, looks like hes done the same to me ,ordered a short kit from his slick looking site. same deal as you to a tee,all good till iasked for  a tracking number then he goes off the radar.i deal with proctor, gtm, tower, bob holman ,etc.then i came across azm,why do they allow this site tocontinue,do they think we are all just wingy unrealistic customers.it peeves me more that people defend him,how many people need tospeak  up before we have the right to put mass full page statements in every forum and every scale mag to let every hobbiest know about this scammer.hes been told hes got 48 hrs otherwise i start proceedings with the ic3.it really upsets me that a person would run a slick site like that to only rip fellow modellers off .sounds niave iknow but i always think we modellers are made of different stuff and help each out by the success of all the  forums and people i deal with internationlly yet here we put up with  this poison.

I have heard people Say come negative stuff about my lozenge and Me , I have met Jamie and I have no ill will towards him . I try to make a good product and sell it at an affordable price. I have heard its out of Scale. My answer to that is it is scaled 1/4 scale for the D7 of Balsa USA now I can make custom and what ever you want and I ask my customers what they want when we start the process.
It all depends on the attitude and I try and have a good one
So those who have used me Thank you Keep em flying

They are terrible. I e-mailed the owner that I wanted to order some 1/5 scale stuff and I was going to call him the next day. The next day, I called all day and he didn't even pick up the phone. When he finally called back, it was a week later and my wife told him I ordered it from someone else. He's done!

i would like to add that i purchased a spun aluminum cowl about 4 months ago from AZM and finally recieved it after about 6 weeks. i could not find a alum. cowl at 1/6 scale anywhere so i had to take a chance. i paid a considerble amount of money for this cowl and what i got was a alum.pot with the handle broken off and was not even cut or even looked like a cowl for a N-11. it looked like he tried to sand it down in a circular pattern to make it look spun. half of it was all black and burnt like someone just took it off there stove and the discoloration went right through the metal and could not be sanded out. i did this out of desperation knowing only to well what the outcome might me be so i can only blame myself. prior to this i looked around online and 2 dozen stores for weeks and could not find a pot to bash with the right demensions. i do have to say this the diameter of the pot jamie sent me was right on the money. watch out for this guy and his company, ive met rapist and murderers with more integrity.

Well that's the final straw, anything for a quick buck on the unsuspecting. The reason you buy a nice alu. cowl is to show off the metal and be proud...not to show blackend pot with burned areas..well unless they happen to be scale in appearance

nothing takes the joy out of building a model like a supplier that doesn't deliver or answer emails when asking them when they will deliver.
i have a project that is almost 3 months old now and still haven't received parts from someone as originally promised.
i will refrain from posting the name at this time, but i find it very hard to consider spending a large amount of money with him in the future.
sad that this kind of crap goes on here in the states.
i'm also against buying anymore planes of anykind from outside the states, but with this kind of treatment it's no wonder almost all the kitters have gone out of business.

All this info almost an overload. I'm proud to have had this conversation earlier today with summerwind and others. I shall stay away from the slick AM website.

This is really unfortunate, because he really has some nice looking stuff.  I was ready to buy a pair of the spoked wheels, even at $95, since there is nothing else available that I can find in the size I need (3-1/8"). The Proctor ones are all too large.

Does anybody know of a place (besides Proctor) that makes quality spoked wheels in 1/8 scale??

that would deliver them to you in a reliable time and get what you want?....NO

seems nobody here in the states (with the exception of Proctor or BUSA) are reliable anymore.

Hi guys!

I`m interested in a Pfalz DIII/DIIIa in 1/4 or 1/3 scale, no one but AZM has it.

What is your experience with the quality of the AZM-stuff and airplanekits?
I could buy it here in germany, so i hope i have nothing to do with AZM directly.^^

Rolf. I recall reading once that the "out of the United States" sources merely took orders, then ordered from AZM, so you are still stuck with whatever AZM feels like. You should check this out. My information may be outdated, but maybe not.

Hello everyone,

I have read all your posts and would like to write something about it.

I live in Germany and I had never been difficulties with ArizonaModels.

Everything I have ordered, I received ever.

If a part was missing, then Jaime sent me the missing parts.

Over many years,  I have many parts and kits bought there.

greetings Gabriel
