Sorry guys - I can't get youtube links to work directly on RCU?

Anyway - here it is on my site

www.redwingrc.com/videos  .. 2nd video down.

again, 30cc DLE engine running on this one.  The JC28 would fly it just as well but you have to cut the cowl a bit more.  PowerHD DS090M servos.  Let me know if you have any questions

Thanks!  Keep me in mind when you do.  I have many more exciting airframes in the works.  30cc and a couple 50cc coming

Hi RevyMaxx

I'm not an electric guy and won't pretend, but I do have a couple customers who have reserved one who can tell you what they are doing.  I'd be happy to ask them if you'd like?

Thank-you. I would like to actually get one for myself...a mini me for the bigger gasser, lol. There are some fields I fly at that are a bit small for 50cc and up aircraft. This fits the bill!!

One more question...I really like the the lines on the 300 and was wondering if you'd make one with the single seat canopy? I like the longer looking snout! I thought about modding an Extra 260 canopy to fit my 50cc hatch as a winter project. The 300 and 342 are the exact same dimensions length wise on the 1:1s. Only difference is the longer canopy on the 342 for the extra seat.

I won't have any 300's in this batch, but maybe in the fall I will.

Here's a link to Laine's blog.  He's serving our country right now, and is running a blog detailing his experiences.  He was kind enough to put a post about us there.
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/member.php?u=56749

He's going electric and I have asked him what he's planning on.  I'm sure he'd be willing to chat directly with you about it too if you'd like.  He's all electric now, so he'd probably know well what to do

Hey Tim I did some electric research and found this inexpensive setup. Motor- Turnigy Aerodrive SK 50-65 380kv/1820w ESC- Turnigy brushless 85A w/ 5A bec Battery. 6s 4500 to 5000. That would be the minimal esc needed. It should work but to be totally safe you might want to bump up to a 100A

Cool!  I appreciate you looking into that.  Brady is going to help me in his local area as much as he can, and with some questions that he can help with.

Honestly to help sales...remake the vid,the track is outdated and used overly. The hovering is rough and too much, the clumsy harriers rolls are dominant. the plane looks good, the vid needs some other flying days/pilots edited in.
Your sales and interest will double.

Thanks for the critique nitro wing - though a private comment would have been more appropriate.  This was the first couple of flights out.  We only have  few of these planes, so though we thought of adding some of the other video we have, we'll probably just stick with it the way it is.  If we get in a bigger batch we'll maybe update it with more flying and manuevers, but just about all the airframes are spoken for at the moment and they just came in

LOL!  I have to laugh, but I just looked at it again, and I would like to have you send me a link to what you consider a "smooth" rolling harrier?  I thought most of mine were in the vid, but the ones in the vid are of a pilot here in the STL area, who is about as smooth at it gets.  Look at the set at 1:12... what was wrong with those??

The torque rolls at :53 (not hovering) are very smooth as well, and far more difficult than a hover.

I really DO appreciate the critique and will take into consideration the song being outdated (I'm a big fan of the beasties)  But the pilot that did the maneuvers you are talking about is one of the better in the area and respected by many here.  I truly would like to see what qualifies as a truly smooth rolling harrier.

My apologies, The S Bach video was pretty good. I mistakenly watched the MX2 video yesterday and thought it was lacking abit.

Ah!  That one was kinda the same way - where we went out and filmed a bit prematurely (first flight before getting CG right), and my editor put TOO much of that in.  I agree, TOO much of the same thing, but He edited it for a good price, so I can't complain too much!
