since I have no idea of how much knowledge you hasve I'll start with the basics. so don't ne offended....

Fuel ratio to synthetic oil mix around 30 to 50%. Choke on for 3 pulls then switch to off. correct spark plug gap. while spark plug is out of engine lay it againt the fins and pull the engine a few times, you should see a spark jump. make sure the primer putton is full of fuel if so equipped. makwe sure grounding wire is not grounded, it will never start if that is the case.

That covers just about all the simple problems and soultions

GOOD LUCK
Walter

Fuel is mixed at 32-1(per manual instructions) checked plug for spark(it will fire but for only a second and then quits and does this just about every time i flip the prop) and has plenty of spark.Checked on and off switch and its working properly.I choked the engine and within 3 spins of prop had fuel coming back out of carb.I took the plug out several times and dryed fuel off and i still get the same thing, it starts for a second but won't keep running.

I did talk to another member hear over the phone and he said that i will need to use an electric starter to start it because flipping the prop by hand doesn't get it turning fast enough and thats why it starts for a second and quits.I'm going out to try it.Hopefully it starts!

That's just what my Brison 3.2 did last week. It was the plug. Replaced and it runs great.

Turn the prop until you find the start of compression. Loosen the prop nut and reposition the prop to one o clock. Put on the choke with full throttle . Put on a thick glove and starting at around one o clock flip prop DOWN THROUGH compression until you here the engine pop. Put throttle at idle, turn off choke, reposition prop and flip DOWN THROUGH compression. Works every time.

fireguy,

can you explain your statement that if you ground the engine it will not start, I am confused?

There are two wires coming from the source coil, red and black..Connecting the black wire to the engine will "ground" the coil and kill the engine..
