Yes, I caught the fever and built a PBF, used an old sign which had a curve in it from leaning up against a wall. The curve simulated dihedral which I assumed might help - wrong! Removed most of the curve by adding a coro doubler along the leading edge, but some curve refused to leave near one trailing edge. Yes, I know washout on one trailing edge but not the other would cause nothing but trouble - it did. Flight was as erratic as before but the "FUN" was definitely there. PBF crashed while landing (flipped due to washout on only one side) and split an elevon hinge. I will rebuild and try again using perfectly flat coro. Here is a tip that readers may want to try. I used "Industrial Strength" velcro to hold the fuel tank, battery, and RX in place. Worked great. Using a larger than necessary piece of velcro for the battery allows you to easily change the CG. I purchased the Industrial Strength velcro in the sewing department at Wal-Mart. Another tip for routing the antenna: poke a small hole in the top of the corro, run the antenna wire down that hole/flute out to the wingtip. Then run the remaining length of antenna back into the wing about two inches from where the wire exited the wing (to avoid a coil effect). Push a small balsa wedge into the flute to keep the antenna from coming out. Thanks to whoever started this PBF thing - great fun!
