Status: offline 		I built Sarpolous' Challenger years ago using a Sig Super Chipmunk wing and powered with an FP 40. It was a great flying model. I thought it looked jet-like so painted mine in US Navy gray scheme.

Thanks for the reply, I wanted to use a Chipmunk wing and Sig still sells them for 26 bucks but they want 35 bucks to ship to canada so I went with a brodak Cardinal wing instead.

Status: offline 		What is the thickness of the wood for the elevator.I reaaly like the way that looks it does remind you of a jet appearance.

Thanks Jay, The H-stab is built up using 1/16" sheet and 1/4" square and the elevator is 1/4" sheet.

Status: offline 		Here is mine I built several years ago. I never got it trimed out just right, no fault of the design. Notice the tank on the floor from the rotten rubber bands and all the dirt on the wing, I really need to clean it up and trim it out.

I bet it would, might I suggest a Evo .36 or a LA .40 I think these engines would be much more profile friendly and might solve some of your problems.
