I've been trying for weeks to get a estimated load(ma) that 6 ds 8411's put on a flight pack battery.
I'm not buying the typical 250ma load.
Any input appreciated.

I've measured an 8411 in the past around 1.2 working with a load and 1.8A stalled. I've seen them spike to 2.0A...

Michael, 2 amps stalled??? That would be more than I would have imagined. Assuming 2 amps at 5 volts, you have 10 watts. Is this typical from what you have seen?

Yep, they load hard... Measured 5945 Hitecs as well, same range.

Imagine all the current consumed with several digital servos fully stalled. And all this thru OEM connectors that are rated @ 2 amps. HD wiring and components are a must!!!

I switch to HD gear a while back. I was wondering. What current did you measure on the digitals using 4 cell and 5 cell packs?
