....There is no real answer to....which one is best.

It's all about personal preferences and the application.

What type of plane is it going in....
How much does the fuel cost....
Which one appeals to me....
Can I get parts....
What about the weight...
How much power does it make....
How much does it cost....
What about user maintenance....
Is it fussy to tune....
Is it reliable....

Which one is the prettiest....see what i mean ?

It's like asking should I buy a Ford, or a Chevy....? :

The one that appeals to you....is the one you will buy.

Dave.

Daver is absolutely right on, I have both and they each have their place. One thing I might mention, very few people mention Enya fourstrokes. When you put an Enya on a plane you just don't need to think about the engine any more, it just runs.

The YS 140 sport or the 140 DZ is by far more powerful than a Saito 180.

A YS 120 FZ is just as powerful as a Saito 180

Some of you guys won't believe this, but we had two DP ulimates one with a saito 180 and one with the ys 140 fz . both with identical props, the saito had a perry shaker pump , no exhaust, and 20% nitro, The ys had no exhaust and 30% nitro (which was mine by the way) and the Saito turned 400 more rpm according to our tack. The Saito powered plane flew with a little more authority I have been a believer every since. You guys should try it sometime. And the Saito is miles cheaper.
